On May 5, 2009, Flushing Town Hall - Comptroller William Thompson presented Kristy Nguyen, APEX Executive Director, a Commendation for her work with the Asian Pacific American community. May is Asian Pacific Island Heritage Month and Comptroller Thompson celebrated the outstanding contribution of New York City's Asian American Community.
